Position Title: Oracle EBS Suite Functional/Techno-Functional Consultant

Location: Palestine

Job Type: Full-time

Department: IT / ERP Implementation

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) Functional/Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing expertise in implementing and supporting Oracle EBS applications across various functional modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, etc. The consultant will also work on system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and provide continuous improvement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Consulting and Implementation:

• Analyze business processes and provide Oracle EBS solutions that meet client needs.
• Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle EBS applications.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-go-live support.
• Configure Oracle EBS modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HRMS, Procurement, etc., according to business requirements.
• Provide recommendations on best practices for implementing Oracle EBS modules.
• Perform gap analysis and map client requirements to Oracle solutions.

Support and Maintenance:

• Provide ongoing support for Oracle EBS applications, including troubleshooting issues, system monitoring, and applying patches and upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve functional and technical issues.
• Assist in the integration of Oracle EBS with third-party applications and legacy systems.

Training and Documentation:

• Provide end-user training and create training materials for Oracle EBS users.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and user guides.

Customization and Enhancement:

• Work with developers to customize Oracle EBS applications and create custom reports, interfaces, and workflows.
• Configure and troubleshoot Oracle EBS for new enhancements, including Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Workflow processes.
• Create functional and technical specifications for custom developments and oversee their execution.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Act as a liaison between business users, functional teams, and technical teams.
• Communicate complex technical issues and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and document them appropriately.

Skills and Qualifications:

Functional Skills:

• Strong understanding of Oracle EBS modules, particularly in Finance (AP, AR, GL, FA), Supply Chain (INV, OM, PO, INV, WMS), and Procurement.
• Solid experience in business process mapping and requirements gathering.
• Expertise in configuring Oracle EBS modules based on client requirements.
• In-depth understanding of Oracle EBS security, role-based access control, and data migration.

Techno-Functional Skills:

• Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and creating/understanding Oracle Reports and Forms.
• Familiarity with Oracle EBS customization tools like Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
• Experience with Oracle Workflow and BI Publisher for reporting and automation.
• Knowledge of Oracle Integration techniques (SOAP, REST) for integrating EBS with third-party applications.

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with Oracle database structure, tables, and relationships.
• Experience in performing application diagnostics.
• Basic knowledge of system architecture and performance tuning for Oracle EBS environments.

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS implementations, support, and upgrades.
• At least 4 years of experience working in functional and techno-functional roles in Oracle EBS projects.
• Experience with Oracle EBS 12.x is preferred.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle EBS certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or familiarity with newer Oracle technologies is an advantage.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.

Working Conditions:

May require occasional travel for client meetings or project implementations.

Flexibility to work on-site or remotely depending on project needs.
