As a Salesperson at Migrate World, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our immigration and relocation services to clients worldwide. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their unique immigration needs, and providing them with tailored solutions. The goal is to achieve sales targets, foster client satisfaction, and contribute to the growth of Migrate World.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the citizenship by investment, legal, or professional services industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Experience in database management and tracking/reporting sales activities and results
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight timelines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English is required; additional language skills are a plus.

The Company:

A fintech app dealing with Family money management combined with a prepaid VISA card. The company has over 5000 users and is developing products currently for the UAE. Regional expansion is in the near future. The company is backed by Venture Capitalists so there is a high level of work that is required.


The Role:

You will work with our team under the supervision of our CTO and senior tech team and be responsible for the server side of our web applications. If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you. As a Back-end developer, you’ll work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience. Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable web applications to meet our company’s needs.


Responsibilities

  • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
  • Write clean code to develop functional web applications, APIs and databases
  • Build integration with 3rd party systems
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications
  • Deploy solutions on servers and monitor solutions health and troubleshoot any problems
  • Perform unit tests and UI tests and optimize performance
  • Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
  • Conduct research on different technologies and tools and build proof of concepts
  • Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
  • Gather and address technical and design requirements
  • Provide training and support to internal teams

Desired Skills and qualifications:

We are looking for Frontend developers to work alongside our CTO and Senior Development team responsible for the development and maintenance of our app both on android and iOS. Your primary focus will be development of the application and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.

Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop compatible functions for our app
  • Collaborate with the design team to define the best features
  • Ensure quality and performance of the application
  • Recognize potential obstacles and fix bottlenecks
  • Identify and fix bugs before the final release
  • Write high-performing, scalable, reusable code

Title: Videographer

 

Background

Leaders International (LI) plans and delivers innovation and economic development interventions with a particular focus on private-sector development, entrepreneurship, job creation, digital transformation, and access to markets. The organization manages a multi-million active portfolio of grants and service contracts to ensure the economy's access to the necessary means and resources for development and economic prosperity. Through its projects, LI leverages its expertise in research, strategy, and management to provide its beneficiaries with sustainable technical and financial assistance, and build their capacity and resilience to adapt to different economic challenges.


Project Background

In light of increased social tension and the spread of harmful media content in the MENA region, Digital Innovations for Peace (DIP) aims to nurture the resilience of societies in Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Palestine, Jordan, and Lebanon in the digital sphere. To achieve this, LI will bring together creative entrepreneurs, digital technology activists, and media professionals to support the development of innovative media and information literacy solutions, with a special focus on tackling disinformation. Furthermore, the project will create a cross-regional network for professional exchange and capacity building to promote innovative, high-quality reporting on conflict-related topics. Ultimately, the project will find innovative, localized ways to make use of the ongoing digital transformation to develop and ensure the viability of quality media in the region.


Responsibilities

●     Production responsibilities: 

  • Film and direct two success story videos, ensuring that all necessary footage is captured to meet the project's requirements.
  • Ensure that all audio recording is of high quality and free from background noise.
  • Manage the lighting and framing to ensure high production value.
  • Work with interviewees and conduct the interview to get the best performance.

 

●     Post-Production Responsibilities

  • Edit footage to create a cohesive video that meets the project goals.
  • Mix sound and music to enhance the final product, while ensuring no copyright infringement when using third-party music, sound, footage, photos, or graphic elements.
  • Color grade the footage to ensure consistency and a professional look.
  • Add any additional special effects or graphics needed to support the project goals.
  • Add the needed subtitles and translation from Arabic to both English and French.
  • Ensure the final product is delivered in the agreed-upon format and resolution.


Expected Deliverables

  • The raw footage of the interview conducted.
  • Two 60-90 sec videos created according to LI’s communications guidelines and general pointers from LI’s communications team.


Qualifications Required

The applicant shall have the following qualifications:  

  • Excellent skills in operating videography equipment, including cameras, lighting, microphones, and editing software.
  • Relevant experience: a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in videography, as well as experience in working with NGOs and donor agencies on at least 3 different interview/testimonial video projects.
  • Relevant experience in the non-profit sector
  • The ability to come up with unique and creative ideas that align with the project's objective.
  • Good understanding of the project's goals and target audience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with the team and the interviewees.
  • Flexible enough to accommodate the team’s vision, and apply the needed changes and edits when needed.
  • Ability to complete the project within the agreed-upon time.

About NPS:

Nature Palestine Society (NPS) is a non-governmental organization aiming to research, protect, conserve, and educate about nature, biodiversity, and the environment in Palestine. We are currently seeking a part time accountant and procurement officer to start the job immediately.


Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented full-time (8-4), five working days a week Accountant and Procurement Officer to manage our financial transactions and oversee procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and procurement, with excellent organizational and communication skills.


 Key Responsibilities:

Accounting:

- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.

- General Ledger Management: Record all financial transactions in the general ledger and ensure accuracy of entries.

- Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and company records.

- Expense Reporting: Prepare and process expense reports, ensuring all expenses are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.

- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings as needed.


  • Procurement:

- Vendor Management: Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing and terms for goods and services.

- Purchase Orders: Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.

- Contract Management: Review and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

- Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.

- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.


Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and procurement roles, preferable NGOs sector.


Skills: 

  - Proficiency in accounting software ( preferably Bisan).

- Experience required from 2-4 years.

- Experience in follow up with an external Auditor.

  - Very good command of the English language.

  - Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.

  - Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  - Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

  - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, ..).

- Hours: Full time (8-4), five working days a week

- Location: The position is based at our HQ at Ramallah.
