About the Role:

- Location: Al-Quds Business Center for Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Jerusalem
- Reports to: Incubator Director

Role Overview:
The Startup Manager will lead and support startups within the Al-Quds University Business Center for Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship, guiding early-stage companies through ideation, development, and scaling phases. The role requires a dynamic individual with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to mentor, develop strategic plans, and connect startups to necessary resources and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Startup Support and Mentorship
- Provide tailored mentorship to startup founders, helping refine business models, go-to-market strategies, and value propositions.
- Conduct one-on-one sessions with startups to address specific challenges in product development, marketing, and scaling.
- Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging knowledge sharing among startups.
Program Development and Execution
- Develop and implement incubation programs, including workshops, seminars, and training sessions that address startups’ evolving needs.
- Collaborate with educational partners and industry experts to enhance program content and provide relevant, up-to-date information.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of startup programs, including scheduling, communications, and progress tracking.
Network and Ecosystem Building
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, industry experts, mentors, and alumni to provide valuable resources for startups.
- Coordinate networking events, demo days, and investor pitch sessions to showcase startups and foster connections.
- Collaborate with other business centers and incubators, including Birzeit University and Al-Najah University, to expand support options for startups.
Strategic Planning and Growth
- Develop and implement long-term strategies to ensure the sustainability and success of startups within the incubator.
- Track and report startup progress, providing insights on metrics, challenges, and successes to the Incubator Director.
- Collaborate on the creation and adjustment of strategic plans, ensuring alignment with Al-Quds University's broader mission and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in startup management, business incubation, or entrepreneurship, with a successful track record in supporting early-stage companies.
- Deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and the unique challenges and opportunities for startups in Palestine and the broader MENA region.
- Strong network of contacts within the startup ecosystem, including investors, mentors, and industry professionals.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing startup needs.
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of digital marketing, product development, and startup financing strategies.
- Familiarity with digital platforms and tools used for startup management and performance tracking.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English
