Job Description:

Are you passionate about making a difference in your local community? Do you have a strong background in community work, particularly in environmental and health fields? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Local Field Coordinator in Jiftlek! The ideal candidate for the position is to be located in Jiftlek or its surrounding area.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Identify key informants in the local community.
• Carry out the field action plans approved by the project coordinator.
• Conduct meetings with community leaders and representatives as needed and instructed by the project coordinator.
• Gather data on the characteristics and vulnerabilities of the local communities.
• Map available social, health, water, energy, agricultural, wastewater, and solid waste services.
• Conduct individual and group in-depth interviews with different vulnerable groups in local communities.
• Facilitate conducting meetings and workshops with different community leaders and informants.
• Submit monthly reports on the fieldwork as per the outline provided by the project coordinator.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree equivalent in social work.
• 2-3 years of experience in community work, especially in the environmental and health fields.
• Good communication skills.
• Good reputation in the local communities.
• Strong skills in documentation and reporting.
• Good command of English.
