We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a “Project Field Coordinator”. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful implementation of our project, working closely with the project supervisor and local field coordinators to ensure effective execution of our action plan. The Project Field Coordinator position is to be located at Nature Palestine Society’s offices (Ramallah), with frequent visits to the Jordan Valley.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the project supervisor to implement an action plan.
- Develop monthly field action plans in coordination with local field coordinators and in line with the project supervisor’s guidance.
- Supervise the work of local field coordinators to ensure proper implementation of field action plans.
- Meet stakeholders at the local level to facilitate their engagement in the implementation of the fieldwork.
- Provide technical training and support for local field coordinators.
- Meet regularly with the local field coordinators to ensure timely implementation of activities.
- Engage with representatives of regional stakeholders in Jenin and Jericho districts to facilitate their cooperation and support.
- Submit quarterly field reports incorporating data and information gathered during the period.
Required Qualifications:
- BSc in social/environmental/health sciences.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in the Jordan Valley region with similar projects.
- Good field research skills including interviews and qualitative research methods.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Familiarity with local communities.
- Credibility and respect by different regional and local target communities.
- Computer knowledge and skills using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, search engines, Google Maps, and others.
