About the job:

As a IT Team Lead, you’ll oversee a team of IT engineers, making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll provide technical guidance, communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, and implement best practices and innovative solutions. You’ll ensure the security, continuity, and effectiveness of all our IT systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a small, diverse team of IT engineers in various locations. Mentor, motivate, and create a supportive work environment.
• Communicate with internal teams around the world as well as vendors and customers, often helping them with basic troubleshooting.
• Develop and manage processes for handling IT requests, covering everything from hardware to cloud services. You'll also design strategies to improve efficiency.
• Plan and execute technology-driven projects related to IT and security, including managing inventory and enforcing device policies.
• Oversee the physical security and network of our offices.
• Manage IT security and infrastructure for systems like G-Suite and SalesForce.
• Handle identity management and oversee the selection and maintenance of applications and tools, while managing costs.
• Create and implement high security standards.
• Support security certification processes like ISO 27001 and SOC2.
• Establish and enforce security processes for the cloud environment, including external penetration testing.
• Define and maintain backup and disaster recovery processes for IT systems.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in IT (no, using a computer at home doesn’t count).
• At least 3 years of experience as an IT Lead/Manager or similar role.
• Experience with ISO certification.
• Broad knowledge of web technologies, security products, and cloud processes.
• Understanding of security threats, networking, and cloud frameworks.
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in vulnerability scanning and pen testing.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with a diverse team and external partners.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Great attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good understanding of budgeting.
• Familiarity with common web systems like G Suite and SalesForce.
• Industry-recognized security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc.).
