Reporting Manager: CTO and Lead Architect

The Company:

A fintech app dealing with Family money management combined with a prepaid VISA card. The company has over 5000 users and is developing products currently for the UAE. Regional expansion is in the near future. The company is backed by Venture Capitalists so there is a high level of work that is required.

The Role:

We are looking for Frontend developers to work alongside our CTO and Senior Development team responsible for the development and maintenance of our app both on android and iOS. Your primary focus will be development of the application and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.

Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop compatible functions for our app
• Collaborate with the design team to define the best features
• Ensure quality and performance of the application
• Recognize potential obstacles and fix bottlenecks
• Identify and fix bugs before the final release
• Write high-performing, scalable, reusable code
• Maintain the code and atomization of the application
• Design and implement updates to optimize the app

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering/ or
• anything specific that you prefer
• At least 3-5+ years of experience front end development preferably within a startup environment
• Strong knowledge of Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch
• Vast experience with multiple iOS frameworks
• Experience in continuous integration
• Knowledge of iOS back-end services
• Good understanding of iOS / android design principles and application interface guidelines
• Proficiency in code versioning tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude

Notes: This is a 100% remote job but hours of work will be defined daily from 9am till 6pm during the week and on call on weekends. As a financial product failures in the system need to be rectified within hours.
